Putting a number onto a different phone?

I have the Verizon enV, but I’m kinda sick of it because its way too big and im going to give it to my school’s charity thing for old cell phones, and want my old phone! I kept my old one.. it still works and everyting, but there’s not a number on it right now. How can I transfer my phone number which is on the enV right now, onto my old phone (which is this one: http://www.coolave.com/products_images/LG%20VX5 200.jpg) I want to do it on the computer, without calling customer service or going to the store or anything. please help me! =) Thank you!
Link to the phone i want my # on

(its the first phone on the page)

I’m pretty sure with Verizon (who I used to have service with) that you have to actually go up to the store. I hate Verizon because with almost any other service that uses SIM cards, all you have to do is pop the SIM card from the old phone into the new one… no running around to the store.

Ancestral DNA lab report? Is this real?

had a ancestral DNA test done on me to either confirm or deny Native American heritage. The only problem is, I suspect that the lab report may be fake. Here’s the whole story….. I finally get the call from a very small local business that my ancestral DNA report had come in and that I could come for a results consultation the next day. So, when my girlfriend and I get there (she also had her ancestral DNA tested at the same time as I) the individual hands me my report and tells me that my Native American heritage is 5 % from the Seneca tribe, 2.5% Chippewa and 2% Shawnee. Obviously, I was very excited and started to ask more questions. However, as I began to think deeply about what was just handed to me I noticed that all the Haplogroups on my ACTUAL lab report were of the K variety. There were no A, B, C, D or X’s on the report whatsoever. The only piece of information that indicated Native American descent was a little map of the Eastern United States that had my alleged Native percentages and associated tribes below it (I’ve also included a link to a scanned image of both this paper and the actual lab report below). There were several misspellings and differences in text type in comparing my supposed lab report with my girlfriends. It gets more interesting. when I asked the individual at the business if I could have the phone number for the lab to ask them questions, she quickly told me that the lab doesn’t take calls from patients but that she would gladly answer any more of our questions. Can someone please help shine some light on this lab report and tell me if it’s legit or not. I would truly like to be able to believe them, but something deep down in me says I’ve been crocked.

No DNA test can identify a tribe.

If you were an A, B, C, D or X. They may have been able to tell you the geographical area your ancestor may have lived.

Each testing company arbitrarily assigns the geographical areas. They are not standard across the industry.

This is a link to a site that lists their geographical area categories.

Is it legal to check the images on a pupil’s mobile phone?

If I, as a teacher, have reasonable grounds to suspect that there are illegal images on a pupil’s phone, am I legally allowed to check images on that phone?

(I am talking about in school, during the school day)

You, no. Tell the principal your concerns, and have him/her check with the school’s lawyer about this. If you have reasonable assurance there are these images, your concern should be acted upon. Your school can make students check in their phones.
