GSM Handsets
Question for the technically advanced (blackberry)?
I have a lot of pictures on my phone and I decided to send them all to my email so I can delete them. Well I go to attach some pics in an email and when the names come up there’s one entitled "image." I don’t know which picture this is so I went to my camera to view the pics and see which one it is. Well, there is no pic entitled "image" but I figured I’d send it anyway. So I open the email on my computer and there’s a preview of the other 4 pictures but this one that reads "image" is only showing as an attachment. I open it and it is a pic of a little girl and I have no idea who this little girl is and I know I did not take this picture but I don’t know how it got onto my phone and why it won’t show on my phone. This phone is a replacement and I don’t know if it was used or not. Is this some type of virus or something or did someone hack into my phone? Please help, thanks.
"Image" is usually associated with an external link (Internet URL/web address) pointing to a web site, or picture on a web site. Just delete it. When you get a refurbished/reconditioned device there might be some residual files/bookmarks that actually become yours. Vendors are notorious for leaving residuals.

What is a good phone for me?
I’m looking for a phone that has the following features:
- Camera (good quality; not blurry)
- Mp3 player (good playing quality; not horrible sound)
- Cheap, affordable plans (** NO CONTRACT **)
- Web browsing (must be able to check e-mail, view Facebook, Google; and I don’t just want to see plain words when browsing. I want to be able to actually see the images and stuff)
Optional features:
- QWERTY keyboard
- Smartphone
- Watch videos
That pretty much sums it up. Please, if a phone isn’t between $0 – $125, don’t post it. Also, it must NOT require a contract, and the plans should be $50 or LOWER.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
If the phone exceeds $125, there is a high possibility I can find it on eBay, uBid, Craigslist, or used from somewhere else. So, it wouldn’t hurt to the phone if it exceeds $125 brand new, as long as you post a link to a used one to prove I can get it for $125 or under.
An HTC snap. I recently got one, and it’s awesome! The only problem is the internet’s a little slow [for me anyway]. I have no clue how much the plan is and all of that, but i suggest you google it. It’s a nice phone!

Is a touch phone any good to text on?
I’m debating whether to get the LG Cookie or the LG KS360 (see links below). I prefer the Cookie but I don’t want to end up buying the wrong phone.
I mostly use my phone to text on but is a touch screen any good to text on? or does it take a little time to get use to it?
Thanks in advance
http://direct.tesco.com/product/images/?R=205-2880 (LG Cookie)
http://direct.tesco.com/product/images/?R=206-5138 (LG KS360)
hi there,
There are two types of touch screen. And i’m certain the Cookie has a ‘resistive’ touch screen. This means that you’ll have to give a tiny bit more force that you would a ‘capacitive’ touch screen, (iphone sort of screen)
You can eventually get used to this, i got used to texting in my satio fairly quickly.
My friend has the ks360, and it’s in awful condition now, i wouldn’t recommend this phone. Touch screens are ’scratch resistant’ whereas the ks360 is not.
I hope i helped, and guides you towards the right choice

How can I get this .gif image onto my phone?
http://www.gifbin.com/982755
Anyone know how I can get this .gif picture onto my phone without it being so small, or it being regular size but moving really slow. All I want is to have the picture on my phone and to see it just as it is on the website. Any help would be great, thanks in advance.
The girl in the pic is Gina Carano by the way
That gif consist of 82 frames. To get the smoothness you describe, you will have to remove (in the least) 80-85% of the frames. To do so, you will end up with a very short gif. You could easily select the frames you want in progression and then regression. Ultimately you will have a loop that could encompass movement with a ’slight’ return to its original position.
The more frames the gif image has, the more ‘ram’ it uses. That’s what is making its movement on your phone slow & sluggish; too many frames and its taxing your phones ‘ram’. Limit frame count to 8-10. The image size doesn’t seem that it will be a problem. Frame count is the villain here.

whats wrong with my telemarketing pitch ? help please?
so basically the company sells toner cartridges for printers, copiers, fax
machines..we give the people 60 days to run cartridge before they recieve an invoice,The cartridges themselves last twice as long as the standard oem also…k so here it is: (assuming buyer is on phone)
Hey "fred" this is andy with advanced imaging, how are you?
good thanks. Fred ill be really brief, i know you guys are busy out there, but the reason for my call today was we wanted to get our foot in the door as a backup vendor, you know as far as the cartridges go. Just give you a quick quote on one of your machines Fred, see if we can save you guys some money, maybe next time you need a cartridge ull give us a buzz.
usually its…no thanks…….hang up……
soo please all tips appreciated..
I’m thinking maybe most people overlook ink cartridges as a major business expense, even though they definitely add up. I would maybe suggest putting that idea into their mind and letting them know, possibly, how much you could actually save them. Because when i was reading that, from a business owner perspective, I basically deemed it as not really worth the trouble of hassling with it all, when you have a system that works, and if i don’t immediately think the hassle of changing over to your cartridges is worth the hassle then I would probably disregard it as well. Best of luck!
