GSM Handsets
When I try to "get" a picture I received on my phone in a text message…?
I get a message saying "message receipt failed. retry later from alert in in-box" i can choose yes and it will try to download the image again, or no and it will go back to the menu. so my question is, what is wrong with the image texts i received (if anything) and what do i need to do in order to download these images.
If it is of any use, there is an icon that appears before i click on the text that looks like an unopened envelope, a picture of two mountains on the bottom left, and the letter "N" on the bottom right.
Thanks for your help in advance ^_^

Help Identify Tortoise?
I need some help identifying my tortoise species and any information i could use to care for it: habitat, diet, etc.
I have linked three pictures below. Unfortunately, my phone has weak image capturing capabilities.

I don’t believe it’s a redfoot, as it does not have any red markings. I was told it might be a Greek, however, if it helps.
I suspected it might have been a russian, too, however, she has 5 claws instead of the 4 russians usually have. Others have also stated that though it has similar characteristics to the russian/central asian tortoise, it is not.
I will be providing pictures which are more clear shortly to show more detail.
Some guy gave her to my girlfriend as a present. He didn’t tell her anything about the tortoise’s origin or species. I just want to make sure I can properly take care of her.
I believe it is a red foot or a yellow foot tortoise. The shell looks nearly identical to one of these. It must be a female if it doesn’t have the pretty coloration, since the males usually have the brightest and more dominant colors. Although, color is not a way to correctly determine this species as color varies greatly from individuals and age.
If you can’t figure out what it is, take it to a reptile expert, or even a Herp (reptile and amphibian experienced) Vet. Without knowing what it is for sure, you can’t properly care for it as it may need specific lighting, food, and other necessities. Not all tortoises are the same in this matter.

Help with phone wallpapers?
I have a Motorola Q9C and whenever I download wallpapers from sites like mytinyphone.com or others it always makes the image distorted because my screen is so big! So how can I fix this or is there any other sites I can download from? Thanks in advance for help
Your screen size is 320×240 (landscape). This is one of the harder sizes to find in mobile wallpapers. Search the web for cell phone wallpapers 320×240 or something like that. I’ve seen a few in this size at http://www.cellbits.com – you could check there. Good luck and have fun!

lg mobile phones?
hey guys !
ive got a pink lg choc phone and what i wanna know is, ive got some pictures in the images section of the phone that i got from a text message, i want to put them onto my pc, but when i plug the phone into the pc it doesnt give me the images folder up only the photo album,
ive tried to move the pictures on the mobile but its not possible
can anyone tell me how i can get these images off the mobile onto my phone?
thanks in advance guys xx
What you could do is e-mail the pictures to yourself using a picture message. In the send bar just type in the e-mail address you want to use. It will cost you (I believe $0.25 per picture), but it is a sure fire way to get it.
Otherwise you could try using an SD card but you said that the move function wouldn’t work so I don’t know exactly if that will work.

Which phone should I get?
I am thinking about getting the LG Voyager, LG Dare, or the Palm Centro. Which one do you think I should get.
Here are the pictures of the phones:
LG Voyager:

LG Dare: http://img252.imageshack.us/img252/2084/lg9700gh6.jpg
Palm Centro: http://digital-lifestyles.info/copy_images/palm-centro-europe-lg.jpg
Thanks in advance!
Personally, I don’t like the Palm Centro. The QWERTY keyboard is way to small for me, and I have small hands for a guy. The screen’s resolution on the Centro sucks too. The LG Voyager and Dare are some of my favorites.
However, I don’t really like the touch screen on the Voyager. Although the Dare and Voyager are made by the same company, the touch screen on the Voyager is not as near responsive as the touch screen on the Dare.
Although the concept of the Voyager is really nice, I really like the Dare; that’s why I got it! I’m not being biased, it’s my honest opinion.
The texting takes a little bit to get used to on the Dare, more than the on the Voyager since the Voyager has a full QWERTY keyboard, while the Dare only has a virtual QWERTY keyboard. However, if you wanted the QWERTY keyboard, I would go with the enV2 because it has basically the same QWERTY keyboard as the Voyager, just a tad bit smaller.
I find the touch screen on the Voyager somewhat pointless as it asks you to open the phone for the majority of the applications on the Voyager. The Voyager has V Cast TV, but only select cities have coverage.
The Dare is my favorite out of all of them. I was a little bit scared when I got it because I was afraid the phone wasn’t going to be as responsive as I wanted. The responsiveness is really great on the Dare. It has a much more advanced music player than that of the Voyager and the Centro. It has all the applications you want on the Voyager, but makes full use of the touch screen. The Dare also has advanced bluetooth features! You can make your own ringtones! (With a little bit of help from a friend that knows how to work Garageband on a Mac or its equivalent.)
The Dare has a GREAT 3.2 megapixel camera, beats the Voyager and the Centro by a long shot; it bests Verizon’s only other 3 megapixel camera. The video is awesome too! The Voyager has a 2 megapixel camera while the Centro has a 1.3 megapixel camera. It may seem unnecessary to have a 3.2 megapixel camera, but the results are STUNNING, for a camera phone at least.
All three phones are stylish, but I think the Dare is the sleekest and sexiest out of all of them.
Go with the Dare! You won’t regret it!

Just bought a Sanyo Katana cellphone, how do i upload images from my cell to my PC?
I purchased the coord "SPYCCABLE" from the Sprint store with the intent of moving pics from cell to PC. The salesman said the software was on their website but I couldn’t find it, and after 30 mins on the phone with customer service I was disconnected so I thought I’d see if anyone surfing Yahoo might know the answer. Thanks in advance!
bitpim doesn’t support my phone…thanks anyway
You could try BitPim.. I’m not sure if it supports photos yet on the katana or not, but it probably does. It supports address book, reading files from the katana, etc. It’s free software.. probably worth a try.
