When registering an e-mail address on Wii, why is there an image of a mobile phone?

I’m curious to know why, as your only asked for an e-mail address (Which I know can be accessed via your mobile phone) maybe you’ll be able to send/receive text messages in the future or is this possible now, if so how.

Ps. I will be picking a Best Answer and not just letting this go to voting like most people do.

I think there is a picture of a Mobile Phone due to the fact that … well I think its just a mistake on Nintendo’s behalf!

How should I resize this image to put on my cell phone?

I have a Motorola Krzr K1m cell phone, it has a display resolution of 176 x 220 pixels.
I want to resize the image found here: http://www.drumcafecalifornia.com/images/DrumMagazineLogo.gif

to fit as my wallpaper on my cell phone.
I have Photoshop but how do I resize it to make it fit perfectly?
I know how to send it to my phone already. thanks.

You won’t be able to properly resize the image unless you want to expand it by adding more background to it. The reason is you will end up changing the aspect ratio (width x height). The logo is very rectangular, it is much wider than it is high, and your phone’s aspect ration is only slightly rectangular by comparison, and appears to be higher than it is wide.

So I would first take the logo and put in onto a document maybe with a black background that was similar to the aspect ratio of the phone display.

Then I would use Image>size to change the size to match the phone display, and then from there, do a File>Save for Web and Devices which will let you choose the image type and the display quality.

Hope that helps.

I have a c261 Tracfone. How do I transfer my images from my cell phone to my pc without losing units?

Is there a usb cord or something I can use to plug into my phone to my pc so I wont have to use my cell browser to emai my pics to myself? Like a usb cord or something? I dont want to lose units on my tracfone transferring pics to my pc. thank you, ~Mel.

It looks like I have to give you a "sorry". I was just reading our manual, online, and it appears you have neither USB nor bluetooth capabilities on that phone.
But what do I know, I’m just "The Really Old Guy".

How can I get an image from a website send to my phone via MMS on-demand?

I recently added an unlimited messaging plan. I was wondering if there is any website that would, when I say so, retrieve an image online and send me it. The reason is because I don’t want to pay for internet on my phone, and I would only use it to check out the weather any way. I would like to be able to say, send a text to a service, and immediately have an image of a radar sent to me. Know of anything that sounds remotely like this? Thanks!

Not that I know of
