Which QWERTY phone is better the samsung A177, the Virgin mobile X-tc, or any other suggestions?
Okay, i am going to give little background to my situation.
I now currently have the Sony Ericsson W580i (picture of this phone: http://www.idealgadget.com/wp-content/images/2008/03/w580i.png
And it has grown on me so much but i really want a QWERTY phone cuz i am a texter (17yrs old) and it would make it a little easier for me but the Sony Ericsson w580i has like really cool features.
It has: expandable memory i got a 1 GB memory card in it now, the themes are really cool and you can download them from internet i use a USB cord to connect to phone and transfer all of the themes, games, ringtones, music, stuff i write like in Microsoft and view it as a HTML. The music player is good. And i love the profiles on the phone like for example there is like a Meeting mode where it has everything on vibrate and silent mode where everything is silent and Flight mode like when i go on a plane and what not which are good for me since i travel and i need to have my phone quiet during school so it wont get taken away. the camera is 2.0 mega pixels it takes good pictures and video is very very good , aim is nice really wish i could change my status or update my own custom away tho. With all of that said i would like to have the majority qualities of my w580i Walkman for the following phones:

**THIS PHONE LOOKS LIKE THE MAGNET BUT FEATURES ARE DIFFERENT AND THE CAMERA IS VGA (which i am sort of not feeling but i would like to know alot more of the pros and cons

***I would like to get a ATT phone so that way i don’t have to do much and change my number and i can just put my sim card in the phone. I have the ATT Pick your plan Prepaid, but i really want a good phone that is like under $$150 but i could stretch another $$100 but no more than $$250 and has to be no contract or prepaid or something like that because my parents aren’t paying for my phone nor phone bill so i am paying for this stuff on my own. So if you know of any other phones that are what i pretty much described through this whole pay please let me know. I AM SO MUCH APPRECIATIVE.***
I have the X-TC and it is really nice but like you said it has no video. The camera also doesn’t have a flash either. The x-tc’s keyboard is kind of cramped but after a while you get used to it. It can connect to facebook and myspace which is kind of nice. But as far as the samsung a177 i have no clue but the x-tc is what I have and it is really nice. what is the lg verizon chocolate called? like its number name?
well ive recently seen a nice touch screen phone on google images its a verizon lg, i think its called a chocolate its touch screen and only has 3 buttons one says send, one in the middle i dont know what that one says, and one on the other side that i think is power or exit or something, i really need to know the numbers i type into google for this phone to come up please help

how to change laptop image to show on desktop monitor?
my laptop screen is currently blacked out on the bottom three inches. i cant get this fixed till another week or two. But when i was on the phone with Dell they showed me how to hook up my laptop screen image to show on my desktop’s monitor. i know how to hook up the cable, i just dont remember what button to press to get the image to switch over. it was an F-number button at the top.
So all i need to know is what F button at the top i need to press to get the image on my laptop to show up on the desktop monitor??

is it a hippa violation to schedule a friends appt via phone?
I worked for some Neurology Dr’s i had a friend who was having some stomach problems her pcp could not get her in to do a Ct on her stomach so i told her that i would go to work the next day and see if i could get her into our imaging department and so i called her the next morning had her on the phone and her name and everything was already in the system so i called imaging and got her schedule and asked her if the time would work and she ok it. so she went to her appointment also i called her pcp and said that she decided to go to another place and asked them to fax her info to the imaging center and gave them the fax number and then she asked if i could schedule her mammogram and i did and then she called a few days later and asked if her report was in and i said yes and she asked if i could fax it i said NO so she had her pcp call the imaging department and got it. So did i violate a hippa law?

This means the end for us right?
I met this guy online. We started talking on the phone. Him and I were having so much fun. During the conversation he ask me to be his girlfriend. I said well I just know you and its way too fast. So he was like oh….. okay I understand in a sad tone. We talked to each other through email. He gave me his phone number without asking him or imaging getting from him. I was confused that he told me he love me and wanted me to be his girl friend. One day I did something the most regretful was that I sent him an email saying lets not be friend or girlfriend or boyfriend. This is a cruel email that I sent to him. Eversince then he didn’t talk to me or call me.
Is this mean its over for our friendship or something else?

Silly girl, you met him on online and yet you are taking it so seriously. Don’t waste your time unnecessarily with all these. What do you get out of this anyway? Look, it’s affecting your studies and this is no good. What if he wants to be more than friend? You mean to say you finally found your soul mate or what? You are still very young and surely you are not aware that distance relationship seldom work. So, wake up!

how to set up multiple phones for business?
ok so i have 2 phone numbers and 2 phones and i have 2 splitters that look like this http://images.orgill.com/200×200/6876536.jpg
i have one phone hooked up to one number and the other phone to the other. when someone calls the first number and the line is busy it goes to the second phone. but i cant get it the other way around meaning if they called the second number and the line is busy it wont go to the first phone.
it is called a "Key Service Unit". you can find some small KSU’s (2 line, 6 station) for under $500.00.
SOMETIMES, the local phone company will provide "ring over" if you pay for multiple lines – without a KSU.

All I got were various letters and number, but the image.
Am I doing something wrong? Or am I just not doing this thing right?

iPod Touch safety app?
Hey guys,
I have an ipod touch and want to keep it safe. There was this app that my friend said he saw on the ‘app store’ and what it did was let you put your phone number on the background image when you unlock you ipod. I was wondering if any of you have ever heard of this or if you even know what that app is called.
Or, if you can think of something else that I can do to prevent losing my ipod other than physically changing it – I’m open to your suggestions!!!

What New AT&T Phone Would I Get To Replace My Old Sony Ericsson?
I have a pink Sony Ericsson Z750a (see link below) and it turns off and on by itself even during phone calls and typing text messages, the speaker crackles, and sometimes it doesn’t send text messages right away. I have insurance on it and my AT&T rep gave me number to call to get a new phone but said that they don’t make mine anymore so I would get a new one around the same value. So what phone would I get?

Nessy, thats not really true because my boyfriend also has insurance on his phones and when he broke his older model Razor he called the number his AT&T rep gave him they sent him a newer model Razor and he called them back and asked did they sent him the right phone and they said yes because they didn’t make his old one anymore. So they didn’t ask him what phone he wanted.
You would probably get the LG CU515. That is the one my mother got, and it is the one I got in January, March and April. So you can see it is a High quality phone. My keyboard locks up(that was the problem with the other two that I returned) I just have to close the phone and wait for it to reset (1 to 5 minutes). I am looking at purchasing an unlocked phone online at newegg.com. I just haven’t decided on what phone to buy.
I will probably drop the insurance. the phones online are reasonable enough in price that the savings would pay for a replacement phone.
I probably sound like a commercial for newegg, I do not have any connection with them except, I buy most of my computer parts from them. read their reviews, phenomenal service, lowest prices I can find. great return policy, you can purchase an extended warranty from them for a lot less than AT&T (that is sad because I own stock in AT&T) You can also try Geeks,com , Frys.com , tigerdirect.com .
