Look, I’m Famous
On Wednesday, motivational speaker Brian Stephenson, business students from the Bauer College, and volunteers from PricewaterhouseCoopers, facilitated a leadership and team building exercise with more than 30 students from Cesar Chavez High School. The purpose of the workshop was to expose the students to the characteristics of true, ethical leadership.
“True leadership is not magical or mysterious rather it is built upon simple fundamentals,” said Mr. Stephenson. “That, when repeated over and over, lead you to what you are looking for.”
Among the themes that Mr. Stephenson introduced to the students were that true leaders have character, counterfeit leaders can be easily spotted, and a half-truth equals a whole lie.
