Does beer pong have a birthday?

What began as a fun game to let college frat boys get hammered and pass out on beer pong tables has now become a popular sport around the world. Beer pong (also called Beirut) is a game that’s played by two people. Each player has six cups and a ping-pong ball. All the cups are set up on a dining room table, although you can get a foldout made for the game if you want.

Naturally, beer is involved in beer pong, but some people use water or energy drinks when they’re practicing their throwing or serving techniques with a paddle. And yes, there are tournaments. The game sounds simple but there are a few rules and tips to remember when playing.
